Sunday in Seattle

My husband and I took advantage of the beautiful weather and biked to see the Fremont Troll. Sadly, he was a little beat up with graffiti and trash, but it was still interesting to see. We then headed over to the Fremont Market — which is filled with antiques, vintage clothing, fresh homemade goodies, handcrafted furniture and other useful items. We strolled through the market and were trapped in a flash mob. Once we made our way safely through the mob, we stopped for a few beers and grub at Brouwer’s Cafe. My husband said the lamb burger was fantastic, as were his fries that I helped him eat, and my beet and endive salad was delish! We will definitely be going back to Brouwer’s. Heading home we stopped at Wild Salmon Seafood Market at Fisherman’s Terminal for some fresh salmon. We pedaled home; enjoyed a cold one on the deck and dined on amazingly fresh fish! It was a perfect ending to the weekend.
